Are you afraid of change? I came across this and thought to share:
Change isn’t your enemy, it is just evidence of growth. What worked yesterday can be tomorrow’s recipe for failure. You can’t become who you are destined to be, if you insist on staying as you are. ‘Only fools and dead men don’t change…Fools won’t, and dead men can’t.’
What do you think? Is it time for YOU to make change happen in your life?
Today I was guest speaker at the Havering Women in Business networking event. I thoroughly enjoyed myself speaking to a full room of female entrepreneurs on strategies to improve their diet, lifestyle and wellbeing which would in turn reflect in their businesses. It’s always fulfilling to empower others and there were lots of ‘aha’ moments. The networking was great too and I had the opportunity of putting faces to the names of some of my newest twitter followers. Here I am with Yvonne Bendall and Linda Watson from the London Borough of Havering who co-ordinate and organise Havering Women in Business.
We have worked in partnership with Angela to deliver the SACHE campaign of community heart health education. Her grassroots delivery and campaign evaluation have been extremely useful in getting health information to hard-to-reach communities.
