Edition #64: Success That Feels Like You
From the Made for More Memo Archive
This edition was originally shared with subscribers on 16 October 2026 as part of a weekly journey to help ambitious women elevate their life, leadership, business and beyond.
Before we begin, I’ve had Riyadh on my mind following the incident reported there a few days ago. My thoughts are with everyone affected, and I hope those impacted have the care and support they need.
This week, I’ve been reflecting on what it takes to build a life and business that reflect who we are, communicate our value and leave room for what comes next.
Because sometimes, the challenge isn't that you don't know how to succeed. It's that the way you've learnt to succeed no longer serves the woman you're becoming.
Let's explore.
THE MINDSET RESET | Define Success On Your Terms.
You can be working towards goals you've always wanted and still feel that something isn't quite right. Perhaps you value freedom, yet your business needs you at every turn. Or you want to grow, but keep choosing what's familiar because the alternative feels uncertain.
The question isn't whether you're working hard enough. It's whether your decisions reflect what matters most to you.
Reflection: What is one decision you're making today that deserves to be reconsidered in light of your values?
THE CONFIDENCE CATALYST | Let Your Identity Lead
It's easy to look at another accomplished woman and wonder whether you need to communicate differently, become more visible or present yourself in a particular way to be taken seriously. But constantly adjusting yourself to fit an image of what success looks like can leave you questioning the very qualities that make you distinctive.
Your personal brand isn't about becoming someone else. It's about communicating your expertise, values, perspective and personality with greater intention.
Reflection: Where might you be editing yourself to gain approval, rather than expressing the value you already bring?.
THE STRATEGY SHIFT | Create Space For What's Next.
When clients, projects and daily demands fill your diary, strategic thinking can easily become something you'll get to when things quieten down. But what if the way you're working is leaving too little room to build the business you actually want?
Delivering today matters. So does deciding what tomorrow will look like. Look at your diary for the coming week. Where can you protect time to review your positioning, explore new opportunities, strengthen relationships or decide what needs to change?
Reflection: What deserves your attention now because of the business you're building for the future?

The permission to pause.
Here's something worth remembering: not every opportunity to do more is an opportunity you need to take.
Sometimes, the most valuable decision is to pause long enough to recognise what deserves your energy, what no longer fits and what you're ready to do differently.
Mini Coaching Exercise
Before your next working week begins, try this simple three-part exercise. Give yourself five quiet minutes and complete these sentences:
I want more of: ...
I am ready to release: ...
My next intentional step is: ...
Don't turn this into another task to perfect. Be honest about what you need, and choose one action you can take this week.
Clarity doesn't always arrive when you do more. Sometimes, it comes when you give yourself space to think.
If you're an established woman who knows there's more available to her, but wants to grow without sacrificing her sense of self in the process, this is the work I help women do.
Through my coaching and mentorship, we work on the internal foundations that influence how you think, lead, make decisions and navigate your next level.

There's no need to have everything figured out before you begin. Sometimes, the first step is simply recognising what needs to change.
As you move into the week ahead, choose one insight from this email and put it into practice. Let your decisions reflect what matters, let your confidence come from who you are, and make room for the future you're building.
You don't have to work harder at becoming someone else, just begin by building from who you are.
Wishing you a week of greater clarity, confidence and ease.
