Last week at the Women Shaping Wealth summit gave me plenty to reflect on.
It wasn't just the conversations and connections, or the privilege of contributing as a speaker and panellist, but what the experience revealed about how we grow into the next level of our leadership and visibility.

Here are three lessons I'm taking with me.
THE MINDSET RESET | The Right Rooms Expand You
We often think the goal is to get into the room. The bigger question is: Who are you becoming because you’re in it?
The right conversations can challenge how you think, introduce you to possibilities you hadn’t considered and remind you that your world can be bigger than the one you’ve been operating in.
So don't just ask, “How do I get into that room?”
Ask, “What could this room make possible?”
THE CONFIDENCE CATALYST | You Don't Need To Feel Confident First
Sometimes we assume visibility will feel easier once we finally feel ready, but confidence often grows because you allow yourself to be seen, contribute and trust the experience you already have.
I reflected on how differently I now occupy rooms that once might have made me question whether I belonged. Rather than question whether I am ready for this, I ask, “What can I contribute here?”
That is a very different place to lead from.
THE STRATEGY SHIFT | Reputation Is Built Intentionally
Borrow a name.
Build credibility through association with respected people, organisations and institutions. This includes testimonials and endorsements. A clear distinction though: don't chase endorsement - earn it.Buy a name.
Invest in credentials, platforms, partnerships and experiences that strengthen your positioning.Be a name.
Become known for something specific, so your expertise and reputation become an asset in its own right.
Doing brilliant work isn't always enough. People need to know what you stand for, trust what you do and remember you when the right opportunity appears.
Your Bonus Insight
Don't confuse being visible with being everywhere.
You don't need to be louder. You need to be clearer and more consistent about what you want to be known for.
