Edition #47 The Answer May Not Be Where You've Been Looking
From the Made for More Memo Archive
This edition was originally shared with subscribers on 19 June 2026 as part of a weekly journey to help ambitious women elevate their life, leadership, business and beyond.
This week, I've been reflecting on something I see often in successful women.
From the outside, life can look impressive.
The business is growing.
The career is progressing.
The responsibilities are being handled.
Yet behind the scenes, there's often a quiet feeling that something isn't quite clicking, not because you're incapable or doing anything wrong.
But because the next level isn't always found by doing more.
Sometimes it's found by seeing differently.
THE MINDSET RESET | Rediscover Before You Reinvent
Many women assume they need a new strategy, a new plan or a complete reinvention to move forward.
What if the answer isn't becoming someone new? What if it's reconnecting with the woman you were before the pressure, expectations and endless responsibilities began drowning out your own voice?
Before looking outside yourself for the next solution, pause and ask:
What part of me have I lost touch with that needs rediscovering?
THE CONFIDENCE CATALYST | Your Dreams Deserve A Seat At The Table.
As women, we're often exceptional at supporting others. We encourage, nurture and champion them. However, somewhere along the way, our own ambitions can quietly move to the bottom of the list simply because everyone else's needs seem more urgent.
Not because they matter less.
The challenge is that every year spent postponing your goals is a year further away from the life, leadership or business you're capable of creating.
Your dreams deserve the same commitment, care and belief you so generously give to everyone else.
THE STRATEGY SHIFT | Patterns Reveal What Performance Hides.
One of the most powerful things you can do is pay attention to your patterns.
The opportunities you keep avoiding.
The decisions you keep delaying.
The responsibilities you keep taking on.
Patterns tell a story. Often, the challenge isn't the visible outcome. It's the belief, fear or habit operating beneath it.
When you understand the pattern, you stop treating symptoms and start addressing causes. That's where lasting change begins.

Many women spend years trying to solve the wrong problem.
They focus on the visible issue:
"I need a better plan."
"I need more confidence."
"I need to be more disciplined."
Yet often, the real challenge isn't a lack of strategy. It's carrying an old identity into a new season.
The version of you that got here may not be the version that's needed for where you're going next.
Growth becomes lighter when you stop trying to force your way forward and start evolving from the inside out.
Mini Coaching Exercise
Set aside five quiet minutes this weekend and journal on these questions:
What pattern has shown up repeatedly in my life or leadership recently?
What might that pattern be trying to tell me?
What's one small action I can take next week that aligns with the woman I'm becoming rather than the habits I've outgrown?
Sometimes one honest answer creates more momentum than another month of pushing harder.

Perhaps the most important question from this week's reflections is:
What if you don't need to become someone else to reach your next level?
What if you simply need to rediscover who you are, honour what matters to you and pay attention to the patterns trying to guide you there?
That's a different kind of growth - and often a more sustainable one.
To the woman you're becoming,
