Welcome To My Blog!

Hello and welcome to my blog where I share some of my work as well as my thoughts and opinions on a variety of subjects that interest me. You’ll find a mix of posts on life, inspiration, faith and spiritual wellbeing, beauty, style, product reviews, health and whatever else catches my fancy.

Living life well matters to me – I am passionate about balanced living and frequently receive questions about this so I’ll be sharing tips on how to. This is also the reason why I run a number of coaching workshops which equip women to do life well. From raising your inner and outer beauty game to building your confidence and stepping out and reaching for your goals – be they career, health and otherwise – these workshops are about getting you to where you desire to be.

We all need encouragement in the various seasons of life so there will be posts to inspire, motivate and encourage you on your journey. We also need reminders and perspective about what really matters and what we need to invest our time (i.e life) in. Finally, downtime is required to rest, refresh and recharge so there’ll be posts on this too.

I look forward to sharing lots with you as we aim to do life well.

PS: Subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss out on any new posts.

Product Review: Estée Lauder Nutritious Super-Pomegranate Radiant Energy Night Creme/Mask

Radiance is one of those skin qualities that everyone wants and that many skincare products promise. But do they actually work? I was sent this overnight creme/mask to review; it claims to “transform your complexion while your body rests”, and is “formulated to uncover your skin’s hidden radiance under the hours of darkness.”

Death by [Poor] Diet

A new study in The Lancet has found that a poor diet is more deadly than tobacco. Unhealthy eating now accounts for 11 million deaths worldwide, (compared with 8 million tobacco deaths) mostly as a result of heart disease, followed by cancers and Type 2 diabetes.

The study found that these deaths were associated with diets low in whole grains, fruits, nuts, seeds and omega-3 fatty acids

Project Spotlight: Sainsbury’s Waste Less, Save More Recipe Book

I have developed a recipe book promoting affordable healthy eating and food waste reduction messages for the Sainsbury’s £10 million Waste Less, Save More campaign.

Working in partnership with the Hubbub Foundation, Sainsbury’s and Southwark Council, I developed, researched, wrote and curated recipes and created an accompanying meal plan based on these recipes. The book also features food waste reduction and food safety advice.
