But it all started long before I ever built a consultancy or coaching business.
Since my teens, people have naturally gravitated to me for insight, encouragement, and perspective. But I’ll never forget the moment that made me realise - this is bigger than me.
While working my 9 to 5, I was invited to consult on a one-day advisory panel for a global healthcare company. Though it was within the scope of my role as a registered nutrition and healthcare professional, it challenged me in new ways - and sparked something inside me.
I’d always dreamt of running my own business. And as I walked to the train station at the end of that day, I had an epiphany:
If I could deliver that much value in one day… what could I do on my own terms, if I stopped waiting and started building my dream?
That was 11 June 2007. By July, my nutrition consultancy was born.
Over time, I had the honour of partnering with major organisations like Weight Watchers, Vitality, Abbott Nutrition, Sainsbury’s, The British Heart Foundation, the UK Department of Health, and many more. I won awards, authored books, and built a respected business.
But something deeper began to unfold…
That defining moment in 2007 sparked something bigger than I could have imagined.
It wasn’t just about starting a business - it was about becoming the woman I was created to be.
It led me here - to a life of impact, and to women like you.

It’s easy to get caught up in the chase. The next goal. The next milestone. The next win.
But here’s the truth I keep coming back to - and the truth I’ve been reminding my clients and community of this week:
✨ We can’t grow what we don’t nourish.
✨ We can’t pour into others from an empty vessel.
✨ We can’t build legacy on burnout.
And yet, so many of us try.
We push. We strive. We perform.
But the version of us running on fumes can’t lead powerfully, love deeply, or live fully.
I’ve learned - personally and professionally - that rest isn’t a luxury. It’s strategy.
Because clarity? It comes in stillness, not just in motion.

That leads me to a story I shared earlier this week…
The Day I Realised I Was Made for More
June 11th, 2007.
I was consulting on a one-day panel for a global healthcare company. Paid well. Aligned with my expertise. But it challenged me in new ways. As I walked to the train station afterward, a thought hit me like lightning:
💡 If I could bring that much value in one day… what could I do if I built on my own terms?
That question sparked the beginning of my business. A few weeks later, my nutrition consultancy was born. But more than the business - it was a becoming.
Over time, women began reaching out - not for nutrition advice, but for guidance on mindset, leadership, clarity and direction. I saw the pattern. I trained formally. And I stepped fully into my calling as a strategic mentor and coach.
Now, I help ambitious women build success from the inside out.
Because you can’t lead well if you’re disconnected from yourself.
And you can’t grow a vision you’re too exhausted to carry.
So let me ask you:
