The other day while waiting to pay for some items at my favourite makeup store, I found myself pondering on how many women were just as interested in their inner beauty as they were their outer beauty.
The brightly lit store was buzzing with women of all ages busy trying on and admiring the variety of makeup on offer. Even more Read More
I came across this poster at my local library the other day. I must confess – I love to read! One of my ways of relaxing is with a good book – nothing beats a great plot and storyline. Or new knowledge in an area of interest.

Productivity has nothing to do with how busy you are. More and more, I’m consciously scrutinising my activity and reflecting regularly on whether I am actually being productive or simply busy for the sake of it.
I daresay that the busier you are, the less productive you will be. When faced with the option to be involved in a myriad of things I remind myself that I am firstly a human being, not a human doing.
With the first month of 2014 now in full swing, many of us will predictably be thinking of making change and setting goals in different areas of our lives – career, relationships, lifestyle, diet etc. However, are you committed enough to reach your goals and make the change you so desire?

Today I was guest speaker at the Havering Women in Business networking event. I thoroughly enjoyed myself speaking to a full room of female entrepreneurs on strategies to improve their diet, lifestyle and wellbeing which would in turn reflect in their businesses. It’s always fulfilling to empower others and there were lots of ‘aha’ moments. The networking was great too and I had the opportunity of putting faces to the names of some of my newest twitter followers. Here I am with Yvonne Bendall and Linda Watson from the London Borough of Havering who co-ordinate and organise Havering Women in Business.
